The cozy room provided a comfortable retreat, although basic. The exceptional evening meal prepared by the chef/owner was a highlight, complemented by a selection of good wines and top-class beer. Despite the language barrier, the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our children especially enjoyed the delicious toasted baguette and olive paste provided at the bar, a thoughtful touch. The homemade cakes at breakfast were a hit with the whole family. The hotel's proximity to the Nordic Skiing Center and other local attractions like Villard de Lans Aquatic Center and Gorges de la Bourne made it a convenient choice for a family-friendly vacation. The quiet location and friendly locals added to the charm of our stay. Digital programming available for entertainment also ensured that our evenings were well spent.
